The Nubian Ibex is common across the Negev Desert and Eilat mountains in southern Israel. It has an incredible ability to climb on steep slopes. The most iconic feature is its long, rounded horns. Male ibexes use them to fight for females and territory with other males, while the females use them for protection from predators.
